Does anyone know what the correct tyre pressures are for the Fabia vRS in psi, the inside of the petrol filler has them in bar.

I have the original wheels and tyres on 205 R16 if I remember correctly.

I'm sorry I wasn't being lazy, I did search of the term "vRS tyre pressures" but it came up with loads of different posts with people giving their opinions or what they currently run their tyres at, I was struggling to find someone who listed the manufacturer recommended trye pressures, hence my post.

Just in case you missed it

2.3 bar front (33 psi) and 2.2 bar (32 psi) rear for 3 people and luggage

I use 35 psi front & 31 psi back for cruising on my own... anything less than 33 on the front and its understreer city.

When loaded up I normally use 35 all-round.

i use 34 psi on front, 34 on the rear

I realise you already have the answer - however three points:

1. The internet is very useful for conversions - e.g. just feed into Google and you readily get to http://www.onlineconversion.com/pressure.htm

2. My automatic tyre inflactor can be set to read in either psi or bar.

3. Since I'm old and still use psi, I've written the relevant psi figures onto the fuel filler flap using an indelible pen.

I checked my filler cap sunday and it suggested 2.5 front and 2.8 rear for a full car.

Me too - only one figure to remember then. Half my time is spent pootling in town and fast A road driving. The other half with passengers on motorways. 34 seems to work well in both instances... and I like pressures a little higher than standard, gives you ever so slightly nicer turn in, and less screeching on roundabouts
