Hello, purchased my first Skoda :-D

I've just joined the forum and would like to say hello to everyone and that I've just purchased my first Skoda. Its a 2010 Octavia estate 2.0 TDi PD DSG Laurin & Klement in a deep metalic burgendy. To be perfectly honest it's the first Skoda I've ever driven and I was amazed how nice it is, better than my 530D M-Sport!!

It wasn't quite the spec I was after as it hasn't got satnav but I was taken by the ride quality & the small amount of miles it has covered!

Anyway, I'll start asking questions in another thread.

Best place to mount a 2kg fire extinguisher – legal requirement in Greece

Hey guys, I need to keep a 2kg fire extinguisher in my car due to legal requirements in Greece and I’m trying to figure out the best mounting spot. My main concern is securing it properly so it doesn’t rattle or move around while driving. I’d love to hear from anyone who’s dealt with this — where did you mount yours, and did you use a dedicated bracket or holder? Any tips on keeping it secure without damaging the interior would be great. Thanks in advance!

After dropping a wodge on the Outback for a new battery only for the tailgate issues to immediately recur and funnily enough for a internet search to suddenly (wasn't before) flag that there is a persistent and long standing Subaru issue with a parasitic battery drain via the telematics module. A while ago, a car parked behind mine decided to spontaneously combust, melting my rear bumper and the outsides of the light clusters, plus scorching the hatchback. The light bulbs themselves weren't damaged and still worked, as did my aftermarket reversing sensor system, none of the wires were melted. I got a garage to replace the bumper, hatchback and light plastics, but I'm having a problem with the "faulty light" detector as, whenever I turn on the lights, the bulb symbol on the instrume

Unrelated (hopefully!) to my faulty light problem, in the past few days I think the tone of my exhaust has changed and it sounds deeper. Whilst I was fiddling around with the lights, I gave the exhaust a push and noticed that it was swinging from side to side. Is it supposed to do this?! If not, what might the problem be?
