Fitting mudflaps

Featured Replies

Brought some mudflaps for my octavia vrs, fitted front with no probs, the back is different it comes with 2 metal brackets. Read the instruction and it's saying bend the brackets 90 decreases twice. Has anyone fitted these and can assist me please

Are these the rally type mud flaps. I struggled but got there eventually. I can take some pics for you if your stuck.

Yes they are, rallyflapz, on instructions it says bend bracket but it's not to clear where to bend. Pictures would be great

Me n me dad spent 3 hours on trying to fit the back n give up as we was loosing light but fitted the front sweet as a nut

You have to bend the bracket back on itself in a c shape if i get a chance i will post in the morning a pic

Thanks mate, we did bend it back on itself but then the mudflap was very loose

I cant seem to get a good picture without taking the wheel off. If you bend the bracket 45 degree then another 45 it should fit fine. They are not as good a fit as the fronts and just rest against the arch.

Cheers pal, manage to get them on but they sat very low to the ground! Running out of light again, so I reversed it on drive n was gonna cut them off tomoz, as I reversed on drive they ripped off!

Both front and rear should both be the same distance from the ground. I haven't had that problem with mine so far. If you look on the website it does show a blue octavia with them fitted so you should get an idea from that.
