Featured Replies

Hey can anyone help on how to fit my rally flapz cause the instructions i got with them are as clear as mud. think ive got the front ones figured out but the rear one with bending and all that jazz i aint got a scooby doo.

Cheers

Clear as mud - dont get into a flap?

Personally - don't do it on a road car - looks a bit pants. I fitted some to my integrale - looked ok but better without

PM sent.

Any pictures of these fitted and do they work/are they worth the money?

Hi

Yes, pictures of these fitted and being fitted would be very handy.

Got a set of black ones for the wifes vrs months ago and still haven't fitted them.

As stated above, the instructions that come with the flapz are a bit cryptic.

Cheers

Dave

If anyone else would like the guide I made myself with some pics then feel free to drop me a pm with an email address I could send it to.

I'll post some pics of the black ones I have fitted to mine, I think having the black makes them as descret as possible.

Don't do it!

Instructions should read:

-Open Packet

-Open lid on Bin

-Place contents of Packet in bin

-Recycle (where possible) these instructions

I agree completely, if your gonna put mudflaps on a vrs at least use proper ones because the rally ones look carp. But everyone has their own taste.

Well I am going to disagree with the most people, I like my rally style flaps they offer much better protection than the small skoda mud flaps and that’s the important part for me as a combo with winter rubber.

It's the old 'form over function' debate.

There are no other mud flaps on the market that are as effective at protecting the paintwork from mud and stone chips.

However they aren't exactly pretty and to me look a bit OTT on a road car.

Each to their own, I'd rather spend an extra five minutes washing the car once a fortnight and stomach a few stone chips rather than go with the 'in ya face' look.

Red vRS, nice. Black wheels, nice. Lip and flaps both look too "halfords" for me, sorry.
