Shark OBD Remap 1.6tdi

Featured Replies

Looking forward to spending the day at Shark Performance next week, I'm lending them the Yeti to develop the OBD mapping for the 1.6tdi.

All being well I'll be able to give you a side by side comparison to the map v box debate on the same car as I'm currently running the CRDt+ from DTUK (and do love it)

I'll post up pics and report when we are all done, maybe even a few teaser updates as the day progresses, can't wait to see what these boys can get out of the Yeti :) hope you've all got all your credit cards ready, I've a feeling there's going to be a few 1.6 owners booking their cars in when you see the results ;)

would a remapped 1.6 Yeti make a good 'getaway-from-it-all' vehicle? :notme::bandit:

You should get them to put it on the Rolling Road before (with the tuning box) and after the remap for a comparison.

That would give a good indication as what feels fast isn't always better, it may have a bigger torque spike to give you a nice feeling shove in the back.

Good idea, I was going to have the box taken off before I went but I'll leave it on.

Not from first hand experience no :)
