Megs G220...?

Featured Replies

Hi guys

I have a G220 V2 which I use for machine polishing my car.

I'm in the process of refurbishing an octavia 4x4 and I'm wondering if I could use the polisher to sand the car body to prep it for paint?

I know it's not ideal but these things look and feel really sturdy to use. I'm of the opinion that if I periodically clean any dust out of the machine it shouldn't effect it that much.

Just wondering what others opinions are before I start...?

Cheers

Mark

Don't see why not

That's what I thought ;-)

I mean if I had air tools I'd use them, but this just seems like it'll do the job to be honest!

I'm not even that bothered if it burns out because they're repairable to a degree. Besides I'll save so much at the bodyshop it's going to be worth it even if I have to replace the G220 ;-)
