Just wondering if anyone has a box, if so are they happy with it and if it's made a big difference to fuel consumption (motorways mainly)?

 

Got the official Skoda rails and bars fitted so any ideas or thoughts on anything that'll fit would be appreciated - haven't really though about size yet, although I would imagine mid range - large would be what's needed and I won't be removing it once it's on so something safe too!

It will increase fuel consumption as Fabias aren't the most aerodynamic to start with.

It's the wind noise they generate that you'll notice more, especially if you're leaving it on.

I only used to put mine on when needed as the whistling and wind rush it created got on my nerves a bit, I'll be fitting it to my Monte next year for a holiday in France we're planning but it'll be coming straight off when we get back.

I got one last year that I think was the kamei Delphin 380 in gloss black. Is very good quality and robust build and on the hatchback is a perfect fit with the aerial just clearing the back of the box and the bootlid spoiler just missing the box too.

A number of trips to lake district in rain, everything dry and may have cost me 2mpg.
