just wondering what front door speakers people have. what sizes diameter and depth and what modifications people have made. mdf spacer seems fairly standard.

just wondering how far it can be streched without rebuilding the door card.

that may come when the warrenty runs out!!! or i get bored again

I have TS-A171C speakers from Pioneer - 165mm wide, 68mm deep, fitted with plastic spacer + 1cm MDF ring - it was a pain in the b**t! Plastic door trim is a bit streched, but not visible.

I would recommend you to buy speakers whose mounting depth is no more than 60mm!
