MDI & BT Complete Retrofit Kit

Featured Replies

I'm going to be selling / trading my Octavia shortly and am stripping out any parts that might sell since the car is worth not a lot.

This leaves me with a custom loom for MDI & BT that allows the boot mounted 6-disc changer to work as well.

I'm currently running it with a Columbus in my '07 Octavia estate with no Aux input. It should work with a wide range of VAG vehicles that utilise the quadlock / CAN system.

I've also got the BT module (see signature for part number) with metal mounting bracket (this does show some corrosion where it has got damp in winter) , screws & felt cover for it and will include a used foam cradle if you'd prefer that.

The MDI includes the relevant loom, controller cable to extend controller to glovebox, cover to go in glovebox and I'll throw in an iPhone/iPod connecting cable as well.

Basically this is everything you'll need to get MDI & BT into your vehicle in one easy hit. It will need coding with VCDS to get full functionality.

I'll put £300, but make me a sensible offer if I'm wide of the mark.

No pictures as it's still in my Octavia. Sorry.

Looking around I have overpriced it a bit, so am reducing it to £260 ovno. That includes postage.

And I forgot to mention the microphone for the BT (and voice control) is also included.

The loom has connectors for the two routing methods of microphone (to head unit then BT or vice versa) and is an easy swap No cutting into cables is require for this.

On an older vehicle it retains the 6-Disc boot mounted CD changer (not sure about the AUX input though).

If my next car didn't have BT factory fitted, I'd be keeping it and fitting it in that.

Price reduced to £230 posted for the whole lot.

Or I'll sell the loom & mic for £70 including postage.

Or the BT module for £80 posted.

Or will consider part swapping for cleaning products for car wheels / tyres (brushes, sealant, Iron X, PERL, etc.) or decent glass cleaning & sealing kit or DA polisher, etc.

All the BT side (including loom) is now sold.
