These are the ones where I would practice small area wet sanding. 2000 / 3000 grit with plenty of soap and frequent checking gives good results. As you said "Just practice".

Restoring sheds is always more fun! Looks like a great job. Check out this beyond repair paint on this mgb. Had big scratches to the primer but he wanted another year before a respray so I really let rip on it. Ended up looking quite respectable. A little extra contrast on the after pik might be making it look a little better though :-P
