Hi there,

My name is Brad and I am a devoted Skoda and VW enthusiast and im saving up for a Supurb. Thought I would sign up because I have used the forum before and I really enjoy it and reading your guys build threads. I have had a fair bit of experience working in VW/ Audi vehicles and I just have a great passion for them.

Unfortunately I dont own a Skoda anymore, I had an old Octavia but thats another story... At the moment im driving around in an EL Falcon

Anyway thanks for reading guys, cant wait to talk some more.

Unrelated (hopefully!) to my faulty light problem, in the past few days I think the tone of my exhaust has changed and it sounds deeper. Whilst I was fiddling around with the lights, I gave the exhaust a push and noticed that it was swinging from side to side. Is it supposed to do this?! If not, what might the problem be?

A while ago, a car parked behind mine decided to spontaneously combust, melting my rear bumper and the outsides of the light clusters, plus scorching the hatchback. The light bulbs themselves weren't damaged and still worked, as did my aftermarket reversing sensor system, none of the wires were melted. I got a garage to replace the bumper, hatchback and light plastics, but I'm having a problem with the "faulty light" detector as, whenever I turn on the lights, the bulb symbol on the instrume

Hi. Just see that my 2023 skoda sportline karoq 19 inch wheels 19 inch. Sagittarius I believe? One of the covers is missing. Unsure if has been missing long and wanted your take on whether it has been stolen or has just fell off due to bad clips or design flaws. See photo of good wheel and the trim removed. First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. I've had my Octavia mk4 for almost a year now and I'm looking for somewhere to get an annual service. For the previous 15 years I had an old vw bora and had been doing a basic yearly service myself, so I'm a bit out of touch with handing the car over to someone else. I was a bit miffed that the dealership I got the car from (rainworth skoda) did an "oil service" that didn't include a replacement filter when I purchased the car, so want to avoid the main dealers if possible.
