Plug in FM Modulator

I record radio material  from a laptop onto a memory stick or SD card and listen to it on the car radio through an FM modulator.  Now this works very well but the quality of these Chinese plug into the cigar lighter units is dire. I have got through about 6 over the years.

I ordered 2 on the bay both from UK supplier but neither has worded properly. As you may have guessed they are Chinese.

Now I don't want to change a perfectly good radio to one which takes a memeory stick or SD card.

Can anyone suggest a make that I can wire in that will do the trick but is a darn sight more reliable than these Chinese units

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
