Connecting Ipod

Featured Replies

I have just bought my 2005 Octavia elegance and it has a stream cd player I want to connect my ipod 5 to it I can't see any aux can anyone give me any advice on these

It needs to be a "Stream mp3" not just a "Stream". A 2005 car probably doesn't have an aux input.

Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

What are the options to add an aux connection to the stream as I've got the same head unit and I want to have aux connection as well

To get aux onto a stream you can buy a connect 2 connection off eBay however you will no longer have a cd changer,

2nd option is to buy a stream mp3 head unit buy the aux wire also will loose cd changer and fit that in

or get the xcarlink, keeps the cd changer, adds bluetooth handsfree and music streaming and has a usb connection, £130 + 10 mins to fit.

DanialA11, more info please on a 'connect 2 connection'. What exactly is it, where and how do I connect. My son's has a 'stream' and he wants to connect i-phone.

Does not mind disconnecting CD changer.

Would be grateful if there's a link to a 'how to'.
