I have minecraft on 360

This weekend am getting an xbox one

Will I have to pay for it again for the new machine?

Yup. But it's only £3 something at the moment so not too harsh.

You can import old 360 maps too if you want.

Just spent the last 2.5 hours on it, soooo relaxing!

minecraft? Don't you mean minecrack? :p I have it on the PC and it is so addictive.  Nothing like starting a new world and exploring the vast underground caves.  Hearing a skeleton rattle in the darkness still sends a shiver down my spine.

Just an update regarding the xbox one version of this.mainly 2 things

1 how many bugs has this version got? Has anyone play tested it at length?

Up to now these include (that I recall)

Animals walking through fences and wondering off ( I call them Dynamo cows)

Visible mine carts that are un-mineable

Going to sleep and not being able to wake up

Music that gets dinstinctly louder

And 2) how do you map out where you are on bigger worlds?

Once you wonder outside the map boundary you don't know where you are

Remembering the x and z helps but there must be a easier or better way

On the PC version (not sure if it works on xbox) but to zoom out a map you put the map in the middle square on the crafting table and surround it by paper.

Boy was that bad!

Haha yeah I get the feeling that the console version was very rushed to capitalise on the money making aspect.  The PC version has been about for about 4-5 years or something (if I remember rightly) and I have been playing since Alpha and there was a lot of time put into its development so it has less bugs because of it.  I still think its a really enjoyable game and its a shame you dont have the PC version as we could have a go at building a oversized Skoda ingame :P

Has anyone played recently after this latest update?

Xbox one version is horrific,several bugs which make the game annoying and in some cases borderline unplayable

All the animals in the barn escaping through the walls and bouncing round the landscape is one thing,a pig flying is another completely

Worse tho is game freezing often,mainly on split screen.....infuriating!
