So I put a s2k filter on my car the other week. Had to trim my reducer down but I didn't do it enough. The filter has crushed itself against my wing and ripped the filter media. (fail)

So im after seeing how u guys have your filters and what have you mounted to to reduce the filter and pipe moment under acceleration.

Well i had mine, in the lower half of the airbox, with a cable tie holding the tip of the filter to the filter box bracket.(sorry don't have a pic).

Can you take a pic so I know what u mean? I had the end bit of the filter wedged in the metal bracket with the hole in on the wing.

There are plenty of pic's on the net buddy. Look for S3 as popular on them. They seem to put end of filter into where the airbox ribber located in wing. Then just use a reducer from the MAF.

Thats how I had mine. But my filter has twisted and damaged. Ill buy another and see if I can mount it the same but better some how.
