BT + MDI

Featured Replies

Ive done a bit of searching and I can't find a definitive answer so would be grateful for advice.

I have the standard Bolero HU in a 2011 yeti. I want to use my iphone with it (no BT) for both phone and podcasts.

So I fitted the Fiscon plus module. It works great for calls from the HU but controlling through the MFD is poor and clunky. What upset me most is the A2DP. This is terrible. Sound is poor with loads of mobile interference and occasionally cant get A2DP at all.

I tried using AUX in but have to unplug it to hear calls. A bit of a pain considering the AUX in plug is under the armrest.

So, I'm considering getting an MDI interface with iPhone cable. Can the FIscon module and MDI interface be used together? Is there a specific wiring loom or is hacking necessary?

Any advice would be good.

With thanks

Note to the mods, a similar thread started by me was moved to the Yeti forum and died. Please keep under ICE where it may get replies. With thanks.
