How do I remove the door card when I can't get the ns front door open

Iirs

Torx behind door handle

Few around bottom or end

Theres one behind door pull iirc

And behind tweet triangle

Its been a while so mite be getting confused with mk2 golf

Torx go around the top,bottom and rear of the door,with a single torx at the the top of the door on the front near the mirror!

There is a cross head screw behind the tweeter cover!

There are also two cross head screws behind the door pull!

There's not much hope of getting it off without opening the door though......

Also the top edge of the door card is wedged in along the window gap so it needs to be pushed up to pop it out ,

 

It sounds like u might have to try and separate the silver cloth handle part away from the card as its bonded by glue to the rest of the card, there is two screws to remove inside the handle as well I would say this would be the best way for damage limitation as you can glue the silver cloth part back on once you get the door back open and remove the rest of the card.

Thanks for the help not fussed if I waste the door card I'll buy a new one

These door cards are pretty sturdy,you would have to cut your way through it with a dremmel to get to the lock mechanism!

I'd remover the seats as well to give yourself a bit of room!
