Hi. Anyone know how many rubber mounts on the exhaust for the mk1 Octavia vrs? I've ordered a rear Y shaped one but I can't see underneath properly for the others - when my milltek was fitted apparently they are 'shot' and need replacing asap.

There's three - the rear Y shaped one, one near the rear beam and above the big bracket in the centre.

there are 2 hangers on the resonator

There is the Y shaped one at rear of backbox,

 

There is a oval shaped one with a C bracket at front of backbox,

 

There is 2 at either side of a hanger on exhaust between cat and centre box,

 

I replaced all mine when i fitted my milltek but found due to weight of it it still sagged so i removed the oval shaped bush and drilled the metal bracket open and changed the rubber bush for a polybush then drilled the middle of the metal out and nut and bolted it
