I have a 2006 Skoda Superb

 

the indicator noise stays on all of the time, even though it is turned off and the bulbs do not flash either (they do when the indicator is on of course!) the noise is very annoying, anyone got any idea of how to fix it?

It will either be your stalk or the hazard switch in the dash. Some contact cleaner applied into the stalk might help. The stalk is the most common failure I believe.

Mine was the stalk despite the sound seemingly coming from behind the hazard warning light. It got to a point where I dare not indicate because id be haunted for the next 20 mins by ticking. Cant remember the cost of replacement....sorry.

I think the noise does come from the hazard switch as that is where the relays are, but the stalk is actually what causes it.

I had the same problem, a goodly squirt of electrical contact cleaniund=g spray

(£2.52 from toolsatation) and problem sorted. No more Czech relay torture.

Don't blame the Czechs. They just make a (very good) job of assembling a crappy Teutonic design.
