After reading around after my dmf began to sound like a bag of spanners i decided to get a sungle mass flywheel and new clutch fitted.

My mate who does all the work on my 06 1.9 elegance fitted with parts for £347 all in!

First impressions, brilliant!

Ive had the car from 56k and now hitting 99k in 4 years. Cambelt and regular servicing all up to date but the smf for me makes a big difference.

Clutch is so much lighter, gear changes exact and crisp and the engine sounds ten times quieter on idle and on normal driving. No abnormal or increase vibration at all.

Mpg has improved, will work out at some stage but i can see a great change.

If your thinking of converting to smf. Do it!

For me its the best thing ive done to my octy yet.

Hi, what smf conversion pack did you installed? Valeo 4p or something else?
