2010 Columbus streaming problems

Featured Replies

Hi, I purchased a Skoda Superb elegance estate from a skoda main dealer and have had no luck with streaming music via bluetooth. I have had a good look through the columbus manual and i have no idea if my car should bluetooth stream or not. Would i benifit from a firmware update or would i be wasting my money? I can make calls via the columbus system so bluetooth is working of a fashion. It also appears to be knocking out my mobile data whilst connected.

Most older units dont support streaming. If you look under one of the seats, the module will be there. If you report the part number which will be of the form "xxx 035 730" plus a possible suffix letter, we can help further.

Sounds like you are connected in rSAP mode where the phone takes over control of the sim card.

You may actually have an rSAP only module. But as above you would need to get the part number from it to see which you have.

I haven't changed phone but have changed car (and BT module) and I can't stream music anymore.

Not that I'm bothered AS I have MDI now.

It is all down to the BT module and phone you are using.
