Hi Folks,

I'm a 24 year old design engineer from Stok-onTrent, and looking to buy myself a Mk1 VRS soon. Looking forward to good mpg after coming from a Nissan S14 and averaging 16mpg! Design engineer during the week but i like to spend my weekends playing with drift and track cars.

Seen some vrs that take my fancy, quite curious as to what insurance premiums on modified ones are like.

Mobility cars. Are they worth it

I currently got a 2008 octavia vrs but I've become a bit disabled over the years need my hip replaced ect Now I need an automatic and I can get a car on the mobility scheme. Has anyone got experience with this. I like the look of the new leons and noticed you can get them and they cover the insurance and everything. but would i be better off getting a used one and putting the money towards that instead

My recent (non-Skoda) cars have given dashboard warnings when the battery in the key fob runs down. This gives the driver the opportunity to change the battery and to keep the key functional. The battery in my Superb's key fob recently ran down, and it went from fully operational (working the button "plip" as well as the keyless entry) to completely flat during the course of a day at work. No warnings were displayed. I was unable to plip the car open, and had to walk to a shop, purchase a ne

Hey up, If anyone is jacking up their car soon are you able to take pictures of exactly where you put the trolley jack (pictures of the jack and any pucks used would be amazing) And where you put the axle stands.
