I have just replaced the whole mirror on my son's Polo after some idiot knocked it off while it was parked up.

 

I have, however, recovered the mirror base / indicator which only suffered very minor damage.  The part number is 1z0 949 102c and also fits the Mk2 pre FL Octavia (without puddle lights).  The damage is only to a tiny piece of the plastic so does not affect the functionality at all and is pictured below.  Otherwise the item is in good condition

 

Due to the damage, lets say £10 posted to mainland UK, which compares to around £20-£25 new I believe.
