new Superb options

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Hopefully you may be able to help me in replacing my current, manual superb 1.8t elegence with another one. Here in Ireland the Elegence has been replaced with the Prestige model. I think the current car is great, hence looking at a second one however with this one I'd like to have a bit of fun ;-).

Looking at the revo web-site I can take the bhp up to 195 and the torque upto 225 for the 1.8t engine my question is will the tiptronic gearbox handle this or am I better staying with a manual gearbox.

Also I see that skoda now offer a "rough road package" which is made up of an alternative suspension setup and underbody protection , has any one got any expierence of this and if so is it good or bad . The current superb suspension is a tad bit soft and I'am concerned that the increase in bhp/torque may make it worse.

Thanks in advance

The 2.8v6 is a 193bhp unit - I asume the tipronic boxes and drives are similar across the range
