I can confirm the pre-FL Yeti foglights are bright!

Featured Replies

Was followed by a Yeti this evening on the A64 between Malton and York.

Their nearside dipped headlight had blown (and I'm guessing they will have been well aware due to the dash warning light), so they must have thought they'd compensate for the loss of illumination by turning on their front foglights.

With the pre-facelift Yeti front fogs being at chest height they were very bright. When they first caught up with me I thought they'd left main beam on!

So if anyone with a Yeti decides to do the same I'd ask you to please not to. I can still see yellow spots when I shut my eyes :sun:

I've often thought that the police should deploy snipers to deal with people that are driving arrogantly, vandalism, spitting etc.

Users of inappropriate use of fog lights wouldn't even get a warning.

Out here people drive with their fog and headlights on because they want to show that their car has them as far as I can work out even though it's illegal.

Fogs are relatively new and tend to show that you have the more upmarket version of an Aussie car (soon to cease production sadly).

You must be very short if the lights were at CHEST height!

That being Holden if I am not mistaken, Ryeman

.....and Falcon and Toyota Camry

All gone post 2017 incl 10s of thousands of jobs due to the ONCE high dollar which is now reverting to its historical norm it seems and with resource prices also in decline, not good at all now in 'the lucky country'.

And what becomes of my beloved Australian V8 Supercars?

We'll get into trouble here.........you mean dinosaur racing?

They are at chest height when I'm sat in my car, i.e. when I noticed they were bright
