Scout cut out

My 2011Octavia Scout is in the local Skoda dealer where they are trying to trace a problem which cuts the engine out and then fails to start again until about an hour has elapsed.When the key is turned all the usual warning lights come on but none go out .When the key is turned to engage the starter motor nothing happens except for an audible warning beep.Since the car was taken to the garage it has worked perfectly and there is no fault logged .The fault has happened four times in the past three weeks.The last break down was on a busy roundabout with my wife driving.Our two children pushed the car out of traffic flow.This was a dangerous situation.
