Been reading through a lot of threads on EGR removal and blanking .

Wondering if any1 can shed some light onto this,

Is a delete kit/blanking plate actually needed if the EGR is getting mapped out anyway with a remap?

And what difference does the kit make if any?

Reason asking is looking at the shark offer and the delete software comes with the remap.

its extra £35 or so for labour for getting the blanking kit added I've been told

And SECONDLY what people have opted for with their own remaps?

Oh and the car in question is

FABIA VRS MK1.
