What order does it go in from top to bottom?

Little bit :confused: as I thought the brake light was the lowest light which is also the regular rear light, which just got brighter under braking? However my brake lights at the moment are the very top one! :eek:

This might have something to do with the brake sender switch, which I thoguht was OK as the "brake lights" do come on... However I'm questioning myself if it is actually the correct bulbs lighting up.

And, if it isn't? why the hell not?

Not seen you around for a bit. At least I know they're working in the right order. Must be still something wrong with the switch though as there's a fault code, yet the brake lights work fine?

Yeah I remember being very confused that the brakes were at the top and only used a single filament bulb ... all my previous cars had had dual filament bulbs for normal rear lights and brake lights.

What's the fault code you're still getting?

The fault will be on the second side of the switch. Switch has four pins, two for the lights and tw for the ECU. Needs a new brake light switch, get the modidifed purple one, black ones are useless.

I shall order this from my dealership. Are they pretty much standard across the range? (as long as I get the updated purple one ok?)

My dealer is starting to get a bit familiar with me - their lady on parts knows me on first name terms now. Know how much a brake light switch is please?
