It arrived today and I'm already growing fond of it!

Drives well, it's comfy, it's economical, it has paired to my iPhone, it looks good, it's brand new and it's mine! Yay!

It's a Laser White Yeti Outdoor Greenline II SE with floor mats as the only extra.

It covers all my needs very well and initial impressions are jolly good :0)

It's a Greenline so it's the 1.6 tdi

I feared I would find it underpowered but haven't found it wanting yet. A long journey or two we'll show me but it'll certainly be fine for the majority of driving I do :0)

If (carpet) floor mats are your only extra you might want to think about mud flaps before Laser White becomes sludge brown; Yetis are great cars but they seem to have been designed to funnel the mud and grot off the road and onto the bottom of the doors. The mud flaps don't stop this entirely but do seem to help. And for winter the Skoda rubber mats aren't a bad buy at around £40 a set - a nice tight fit in the footwells and with a raised lip to retain any wet of your shoos and most of the mud and grit which seems to inevitably find its way into the car; keep the carpets for the summer.

 

And if the weather in Nottingham is anything like it is here at the moment you have a great day to see how it performs in the wet!!

How long are new Yetis taking to arrive these days?

Mine took 8 weeks with a few extra's, will be picking it up on the 1st of March

Mine was ordered on 27 November and built on 13 January. The car has been at the dealership since 30 January but I have delayed first registration unril 2 March.

How long are new Yetis taking to arrive these days?

My car was in stock - so my wait time was just about the speed with which the lease was sorted (six weeks).
