Hi folks,

 I have myself an 02 Octavia Ambiente 19TDI,which,when I put in the reg,pulls up the timing belt for an AGR 90BHP.But the book says I have an ASV,which I'm led to believe,is a 110BHP. I have looked but can't find anythig to tell me for sure.

 Is there a difference between the timing belt for an AGR and that for an ASV? Advice very much appreciated before I buy.

What does the sticker under the boot carpet say? The engine code is stamped on the block somewhere too.

You are correct sir,it says ASV on the timing belt cover.????????

 I'll give the if's and but's as to why it throws up an AGR when I put in my reg a miss for the moment.Is there a difference in the timing belts between the two?Thanks again for the reply.I think I'll leave the delivery to the door,being of a lazy disposition,   and go get one
