Now that my Octy vRS has gone, I've got my Kenwood to sell.

 

It is 18 months old and has worked faultlessly since the day it was installed. It's a superb sounding unit and has:

 

cd player

ipod integration

DAB

bluetooth

AM/FM

 

I am offering it on here first but if there are no takers, I'll put it on ebay.

 

I would like £650 which will include recorded delivery.

 

Everything is included (cables etc.) apart from the DAB aerial. This is a one-time fitment so was destroyed when removed from my car. They can be purchased from ebay for around £20.

Hi, was this fitted in a mk2 vrs? Would it go into a 2006 model with no issues? Also, does the Bluetooth have an external mic?

Yes, it was in my 57 plate vRS. I can't see why there would be any issues in one a year older. It's designed specifically for VW group vehicles. You won't get the climate info on the screen though. I believe that is only on the facelift versions.

 

It does have an external mic. I had mine put by the sunglass holder. The auto electrician said it was an easy job as the a-pillar needed to come off to fit the DAB aerial. The original is included as I used an old one I had which was already open.

This is a fully-loaded system which has everything you need in one box.

For me the job would have been a nightmare, but the chap who did it does that sort of thing for a living so I guess he found it easy.
