I'm trying to replace the front passenger parking light bulb in my 2011 Superb. I can't figure out if I need to twist the bulb holder in the headlight unit to remove it or just pull straight back!

Anyone help before I lose my temper? I've already lost quite a bit of skin from my knuckles - there's not a lot of space in there.

Pull, and pull hard.

 

When it still doesn't come out, swear a bit and pull even harder. When it finally releases and you crack your hand swear some more and mumble something about the stupid design.

 

When re-inserting snap off the lugs that hold it in place to ensure that next time it can be done without a trip to A&E.

Haha! It felt like one of mine had been spot welded on, so I got the dealer to take that one out.
