Rhapsody Radio Removal

Featured Replies

Hi All

so I finally got my 1st skoda and wanted to upgrade the stock radio. I got everything needed, removal keys (kenwood ones as suggested here and Halfords suggested ones), aerial adapter, facia kit etc and went to tackle the removal today and Im stumped. Ive changed many the head unit over the years and up until now I have never met a head unit that I couldn't swap out. Am I missing something simple? Is there any diys for the mk1 models (plenty of videos for the mk2) Im driving a 2007 superb fitted with the Rhapsody radio, double din unit..

Any advise welcome and thanks in advance for any help..

ps sorry if in the wrong section :)

Have you got flat bladed removal tools with pins on each side?

By the looks of it, you'll need four of these for the Rhapsody.

Push them in fairly hard to release all four of the catches, then slide the whole unit forwards.

Apologies if you have already tried that, but it should be that simple.
