Long term fuel consumption figures on Amundsen

Featured Replies

Hi Guys

do the long term readings keep resetting themselves for some reason i have missed? i cant remember when i last reset it manually but ive done over 2000 miles this week and its reporting that the long term results are

674 miles @ 51.8 mpg

the time elapsed and average speed also only relate to the 674 miles

im confused - but then thats not difficult at my age!

It resets every 100 hours of driving time.

To be really precise, it resets at 100 hours driving or 10,000 km (~ 6200 miles) driven, whichever happens first.

So if you manage to drive at an average of >100 km/h (~62 mph) it will reset at less than 100 hours of driving.  Of course, you'd have to be doing a lot of un-congested motorway driving to achieve this...
