Paint job

Featured Replies

So this week we make the final payment + pickup my wifes new fabia mk2 Se, had a good drive in it today and it feels fine, paintwork and interior are pretty much immaculate, 16k miles and 1 owner from new, serviced at a skoda dealer.

now for the not so good news :P , i checked the car over today when we went out for a test drive and found a large amount of overspray either side of the rear bumper almost like someone has damaged the bumper in the past and resprayed it whilst on the car or tried merging the bumper into the body very poorly!, i noted this to the dealer and he at first couldnt see it, after i got him to run his hand over it. it became obvious he was seeing what i was seeing, so i said i wanted it sorting.

has anyone had any experience of these types of issues? will they be able to fix it to a reasonable standard as i have no clue about paints ect?

the car is white if it helps

If the dealers going to do it he will probably take bumper off and spray it then replace
