Hello, I'm looking to see if anyone knows where I can get a rear drivers side window grill for the estate. I have seen on police dog cars (which are skoda scouts) that the two rear windows in the boot have been replaced with a moulded wing with rear facing grill and want to know where these are available from. Having two large dogs which are held in the boot and a long drive holiday planned I am wanting to install two or one of these for their comfort and ours so we don't have to have a window constantly open for them. Any help would be appreciated.

it's a shame car manufacturers don't put an air con vent to the boot area ! That would be more useful than putting one in the glove box in my opinion !

I agree. It would also be useful if there was an option to have heating in the boot, too. I sell lab instruments that are sensitive to temperature. If I transport one in the boot, it has a habit of not working correctly at a demonstration, because it has been too cold during transit. I have to keep them in the cabin instead (less ideal). The cooled glove box is a nice idea, but I always have too much other stuff (cloths, charging cables, manual, CDs etc) in there for putting a bottle of water in to be practical.

Have you tried calling in at the local nick and asking their transport officer where they get them from?  They're usually quite a friendly bunch (unless you're on their wanted list, of course)
