What's the best way to find my cars engine code?

 

I suspect it is BMP (2011 Skoda Superb CR140), but are there any markers on the car to confirm?

 

Is it under the bonnet?

It's usually on the data sticker in the boot and service book, you could try looking for a sticker on the cam belt cover.  CR engines tend to have a 4 digit code.

BMP is the 8V 2.0PD TDi engine, a CR engine has a 4 character ID.
