very subbtle mods :)

door handles are from ebay (don't cover all the origional handles - can see some black at top)

standard VRS clocks with alloy surrounds (a pig to fit - TIP do not use superglue as it leaves stains from the fumes on the black plastic)

rear badge copied off Josh (thanks for the idea Josh - credit to you for that) :)

You didn't notice the black on the pillars? (Skoda accessory

How easy are they to fit? I have seen some older cars with them and I have noticed they tend to start lifting at the corners though - will be interesting to see how they wear

Also how do you fit the rings? Well what i mean is how do you access them - does the perspex just come out-if so how?

the pillars are a pig to align - i used masking tape to get a straight edge along the top then positioned them and used more tape to keep them in place as i peeled the backing and used the (supplied) plastic thing to get the air bubbles out. I still managed to get the bottom of the first 1 i fitted slightly out but you can't really tell.

The sides overlap and you have to pull the door seals to one side to stick the trim in.

The rings are easy to fit - pull the plastic trim above steering wheel/ in front of clocks towards you and it pops out' date=' remove 2 screws holding in clocks (use magnetic screwdriver or the screws will drop down), pull clocks forward and remove the 2 plugs behind, manover the clocks out from behing steering wheel (easier if wheel is tilted down).

When clocks are out you need to seperate the plastic front by gently levering the tabs around the cover (3 small screwdrivers does the trick), it's now ready.

Push the rings through the holes from the back and use a sealant around the holes (i used super glue but this causes the fumes to stain the black trim/ needles - i had to strip them down again the next day to clean them up :( ) , now move the rings into position and hold them until the sealent has set enough.

Use a cloth to wipe any finger marks from inside the plastic and around the rings then re-assemble in reverse order.

Job takes about 1/2 hour (ish)

This is the seller id on ebay for the rings - [url']www.OctimeX.de[/url]
