Hello from Dominican Republic

Featured Replies

Hello, Everyone. I was able to make the big leap of buying my own apartment (actually, I gave a little more than 30% as a down payment). This seriously affected my finances and I was forced to trade my 1996 toyota corolla for a 1996 Skoda Felicia. Skodas are becoming very popular around here. After using japanese cars all my life (extremely popular around here, especially hondas and toyotas) I was a little concerned about my decision, euro cars are a luxury around here (parts are pricey) and this brand seemed like a cheap clone. I'm very happy to tell you that I think I made the right decision! they're cheap, alright (to buy and maintain), but rugged and durable.

It is somewhat hard to go back, from Electronic Fuel Injection and ECU's to tradional carburetor. It is certainly something that I would not recommend to everyone, and, the lack of power can be irritating, but, I'm happy with it!

hello and welcome 2 briskoda m8.
