I bought this tidy little vrs just before Christmas. It's done 155k with loads of Skoda history. I'll be putting a fresh MOT on it in the next couple of weeks. Current MOT expires on the 20th March. I have replaced the following parts since I bought it:

New battery

New Bosch alternator

New auxiliary belt

New anti roll bar bushes

New starter to battery earth cable

Full service including new wiper blades

Front mudflaps fitted

I will be replacing the rear discs and pads for the MOT. One of the rear calipers has started to seize so I will be replacing both calipers also (green calipers ready to fit). The drivers side rear door lock has become temperamental so I have ordered one of those too. Excellent interior with rubber mats over the top of the vrs ones. There is a bit of rust coming through on the drivers sill. I was planning to rub this down and paint it in the summer but I won't have time for this. I'll get some pics asap.

How bad is the rust

Not bad, I was actually going to get it sorted next week at a garage. I'll get some pictures. My plan was to rub it down and treat it with black Hammerite.

I will be changing the rear brakes tomorrow (discs, pads and calipers) and then it'll be going in for its MOT over the next few days. I'd like to sell the car as soon as possible as I've already bought another car. Offers and viewings welcome.
