vrs centre box removal?

Featured Replies

Has anyone removed the centre exhaust box on a petrol vRS?

I'd be interested to see how the car sounds/behaves with a sport cat and straight through centre but standard rear exhaust box.

I've got a fl vrs tsi and it is super quiet, I wouldn't mind a bit more of a sportier exhaust note when on song. I'm not really fancying full on aftermarket loud, been there many times and I'm enjoying the ease and comfort of factory fit all over the car, but just fancy a little rumble or exhaust note here and there.

I saw an s3 a couple of weeks ago, standard trim, it was nice and quiet normal driving then the owner gave it a boot full and it sounded lush.

Any advise would be great!

Cheers.

Hi if you look at a tfsi Audi TT it has a box on one side and a pipe on the other it just cuts the farty sound out and leaves a gud note hope this helps
