Front Brake Upgrade

Featured Replies

Hello, sorry if this has been covered elsewhere,
Quick answer needed, preferably from someone who has done it.
Will i have any issues going from 288 to 312mm
On the front of my Mk1 2004 Octy L&k Estate with original 16" factory fitted Wheels?
Donor parts from an 05 Octy RS
Thank's in advance
Jim

No the vRS estate has 16s from the factory and 312mm brakes so you'll be all good with the vRS Spider wheels and presumably other OEM 16" wheels.

Thank's that gives me a little more confidence to continue with the upgrade,

i like the LAUREN & KLEMENT factory wheels and don't really want to loose them.

How are things in Wellington?

i have family in Christchurch.

All good here! Nice and sunny too. I almost went to Christchurch this week to buy an Audi, but talked myself out of it :D

Is there anyone near this guy with a vRS who'd lend it long enough to offer an L&K wheel up on a front?

You still on the Audi trail? Come on Rob dive in ;) You can only talk yourself out of it for so long!

I'm keeping an eye out yes. :D
Ideally I need to wait about 6 months until some debts are cleared and SWMBO gets a job then it'll be more affordable.
