I took my glove box out at the weekend to get to the fuse box, but in the process of removing the glove box the damper fell out & landed on the floor, which broke the clip off the end:

 

 

I've contacted Skoda parts to try & get a replacement, but they are struggling to find a part number for this.

 

Is anyone here able to assist in finding the part number, or where I could pick one up from?

 

It's for a Skoda Octavia 2014

That's a bu99er!

 

From the picture it looks like there's a part number in the hole at the top (might be wrong though).

 

Failing that you could try a 'bent-bit-of-metal-glued-to-the-plastic-bit' bodge/fix to make it work again (replace the bit that fell off and use some metal as reinforcement)

Yeah, just a little annoying!

 

Looks like they have found the part now:

 

 

They think it's part 11, which I tend to agree with.

 

Going to order one & hope for the best anyway

Just a quick update, the part has arrived today, looks like the correct one, in case anyone else has the same issue
