New bulbs

Featured Replies

Well I am a little disappointed with the headlights in the VRS (compard with my old Punto HGT) so I've just placed an order for Osram Silver Star bulbs with free Philips Blue Vision sidelights as recommend by a fair few people on here. From powerbulbs.

My car is going into the dealers next week for a few things, should I ask them to fit said bulbs or is it an easy enough job to do myself.

SWMBO has a ford ka and the headlights on that are superb.

It's easy enough to DIY it, although it is a little tight on the battery side and you may want to take part of the battery cover off to give you more room. :D

as chris said it's tight but easy to do, unless your like me and drop the blubs into the engine bay. I spent an hour taking off the under tray to find them :o

Must be different on different years, it's an 03 model, excellent range from them.

I'm suprised that you are dissapointed with std. lighting.

I was very suprised how good the std. lighting was when I got the car and although not as good as my previous BMW Xenon's, they certainly are very good IMO

I guess it depends what you've had beform, I replaced the bulbs on my fiesta but was very happy with them on the 106 Rallye and even happier with the Punto. Bit disappointed with the VRS, sufficient, but I like to see what's coming up on the horizon in plenty of time.
