I am hopefully taking delivery of my very first Skoda in a few weeks (Superb Elegance 170bps Estate Deisel DSG). I have a wife but no children and no dogs but still like an estate car. My friends' and colleagues' responses to my purchase are mainly "Are you sure you want a Skoda?". One even said "Please don't park it on my drive when you visit" - For that, I'll definitely buy one!

Welcome to Briskoda. I first bought a Skoda 10 years ago and the neighbours took the pee. Funny thing is there are about another six Skoda's in our road now.

I put this on the front of the house just to wind them up.

Still proud to drive a Skoda. I hope people at Skoda would not be affected much by the VW's unavoidable restructuring plan to cover their monumental "screw up". I will be more than happy to buy another Skoda if they can truly fix the problem to the satisfaction of the customers. If they are not careful, VW can easily become Gerald Ratner of the motor world and a new version of Skoda's heated rear screen joke may appear.
