Spare Television Base

Featured Replies

Hello all - just wondering if anyone knows of a good website/shop that stock spare/second hand television 'bases' by 'bases' I mean the stand that attaches to the set.

In a nutshell: I was given a 50" LG plasma television from work that was supposedly broken, I had it repaired for £100 by a repair specialist. However it has no cables, base or remote.

It won't be being wall mounted unfortunately as that looks like it would be a cheaper option.

The cables and remote are being sorted by the repair shop, it is just the base that I am searching for. If anyone knows of anywhere that may provide what I am looking for, please let me know.

Have you looked on eBay?

Had a search on the Bay for bases and there was one for £60 in 'reasonable condition'... !

Thanks for the link, I will know for the next time I need one.

Thank you both for your responses, however I just received a call from the repair shop that they've found one in the shop that fits perfectly, they have quite a lot of 'stock' that wasn't particularly well organised so I am glad they spent the time searching through the pile for me. Has a few scratches on it but is fine apart from that.

Thanks again.
