VRS prices

Featured Replies

So Im thinking about coming back to petrol after owning a fabia diesel vrs for the past year, I bought it cheap and although it goes nice still with the high mileage I seem to do nothing but spend money on it, and at nearing 200,000 miles im thinking not spending any more and saving the money and going for a Octy petrol vrs as I quite like them. So as a general guide the car im about to link up could someone please tell me what sort of price this should be really going for as I think its overpriced , it will give me some sort of idea on what I should be paying for a car of that condition and mileage.  http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201410178298431/sort/default/usedcars/page/3/fuel-type/petrol/keywords/vrs/body-type/hatchback/postcode/ct162ay/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/model/octavia/engine-size-cars/2l_to_2-5l/radius/1500/make/skoda?logcode=p

Seems the blue ones go for more money I like it when adverts say they are rare, dont think they check the ads as theres quite a few about.

Anyway any help would be much appreciated

Thanks

It's a grand too expensive, they are holding their money but its still almost 8 years old and nearly 100,000 miles on the clock.

  • Franchised Dealer £5,230

  • Independent Dealer £4,930

Prices based on an average mileage of 80,000 miles

With 95K on clock, you are paying a lot for the extras

Thanks for the quick replies, so a grand overpriced, did see a couple of private sells on there over the past week with similar or lower mileage on 06 plates for around £3600 which I thought was about right and gives me a guide if I go to a indy dealer. I think some dealers live in a dreamworld but I suppose without guidance some mug will end up buying them

Have you checked out the 'For Sale' section on this site, or Ebay..
