Hi id appreciate some help if possible.

Iv gone to start my Vrs just now and iv had a kind of humming noise coming from the bottom cam pully where i think the coolent pump is. Its not the cam belt pump but the pump at the bottom left of my engine bay.

May this be the coolent pump and not the water pump. I think its the timing belt as i know the cam belt is under the plastic cover and this pump is not on the cam belt

Please help

It's not the secondary air pump is it? When a pipe popped off mine it sounded like a lawnmower on cold start, so if it's on its way out it could make some strange noises. May effect idle and/or trigger elm light though. Do you have a pic of where you think it's coming from or a vid?
