I have the dreaded heated seat failure on the driver's side bum squab. Just wanted to ask if anyone has tried fitting a new element themselves and if so what kind of job was it?

Also, if had one fitted by dealer, how much they charged you?

I've had the heated seat fixed twice now, both by the dealer under warranty. Not sure I'd want to tackle it myself, but I still have a few months of the original warranty, plus two years of extended after that, to stave off the need just yet!

Yeah, think I'll wait until the next service in May and get them to change it, hang the expense! :(
