autobrite repel £8

Featured Replies

Saw the offer on Facebook should anyone be I interested?

any opinions on it? I'm tempted but postage always ruins the bargain.

Never heard of it. Is it a rain repellant?

Ah right. Sounds similar to the aquapel I use, but that is a one hit, one application but it does last bloody ages. :)

I'm tempted although I do have a untouched bottle of maintz glass sealant in the garage (bought before the recent incident) and 4 lots of aquapel I bought from you Jason! Haha

Saw rainx in wilkos for 1.25 and nearly bought that last week too, lol

It's crap.

Car Chem or Gtechniq G5 for me. Although heard good things about Angel wax H20go but not tired it myself.

I dont like the AW H2Go..much prefer GTechniq G5

However, Ive been trialing some Rain Repellant from Power Maxed ....

..Really easy to apply and repels water almost as good as G5..but better than AW

I think it's pretty much the same as hellshine ghost rider and that is my favourite rain repellant. It lasts ages it's easy to apply and just brilliant.

im using repel at the moment and its not too bad, better than I was expecting considering a few on here who's opinion I value dont like it, maybe they have changed the formula.  but, it is the first product of its type ive used and i'll be giving gtec g5 a go next.  If its much better i'll be a very happy bunny

to be honest for the price difference id try and find someone selling gtechnic with cheap postage.  you never know someone like cyc might do you a deal and just post it rather than use a courier for one cheap item.  or there must be some detailing suppliers on your doorstep, Yorkshire being the detailing hotbed it is.

I wasn't too impressed with the longevity of it when I used it, not a patch on the Gtechniq stuff. It's easy to apply though which is a bonus.
